Urban Trails Showcase - National Public Lands Day

Want to try your hand at making flower wreaths, sun prints, straw and paper airplanes - and sample some mini moon pies? Then visit YWCA Lowell from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Urban Trails Showcase, one of many day-long events during Lowell's National Public Lands Day.

Developed by Lowell National Historical Park, the Discover Lowell's Urban Trails initiative  engages local partners, including YWCA Lowell, in creating activities for park visitors. The Lowell Community Health Center, Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association, Lowell Senior Center, and Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School will share their activities, in addition to the YWCA.

The day's events also include: Volunteering for downtown canal cleanup (9am - 12pm); free admission to Boott Cotton Mills Museum; and free Wellness on the Walkways programs (yoga, Zumba, and birding and urban hikes).  To reserve a space in the Wellness programs, call 978-970-5031 or visit Lowell National Historical Park for more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
