Bus Driver - Part-Time, Temporary
The bus driver transports program participants safely to and from activities that take place in and around Lowell. Daily responsibilities include conducting daily bus safety checks, maintaining fuel level and cleanliness, reviewing and adjusting transportation routes, ensuring safety of bus passengers, and working closely with the Youth Services Director. Candidates need a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and 5 year's driving experience, including a full year driving a multi-passenger van or mini-bus. Prime Time
Youth program group facilitator - Part-Time
Creative, experienced, and highly energetic group leader needed to facilitate an activity-based counseling group for at-risk and traumatized school-age children. This is a part time position of 10 hours a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm to 7pm. Responsibilities include developing and implementing group activities focused on socially acceptable behaviors and personal development, implementing interventions to promote successful participant engagement, preparing monthly progress reports, and communicating regularly with the Youth Services Director about program operations and concerns about participants. A Bachelor's Degree in education or related field is required. Candidates must have a minimum of three years' experience leading groups for at-risk school age children, including working within diverse racial and cultural groups. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, the ability to plan, and work as part of a team. Family support
parent aide - Part-Time
Help local families at risk for child abuse and neglect. As a Parent Aide, you will receive training and supervision to assist families with meeting immediate needs, such as accessing food, shelter and health care. You must be interested in social work and empowering others. This job is six (6) hours per week, with hours possibly increasing over time based on the number of families served. You must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and registration, a safe driving record and be bi-lingual in English/Spanish or English/Khmer.
